The Area has released a document providing suggestions for re-opening meetings. These are just collected experience from meetings around the state and nation. They may help to answer any questions you may have regarding your meeting. You can download the document here.
Some local groups have started online meetings during this time. They are noted in the meeting list. If your group starts an online meeting please contact the webmaster@ncd12aa.org to make sure it gets listed. Other online meetings may be found at aa-intergroup.org.

The District has an ongoing service work opportunity.
The Hickory Toll Free Hotline has modernized, and we greatly need volunteers
available to take calls forwarded from the live service operators.
Please contact the district DCM or your group GSR if you have a interest in helping out!
Volunteers Needed for Corrections Meetings
There is a real need for more volunteers for this important service work!
There is an application and training process required to bring a meeting into a correctional facility.

Anyone can go in with a volunteer one time per year. If interested in attending a meeting or becoming a volunteer, please contact our Correctional Facilities Coordinator at cfc@ncd12aa.org or 828-260-9221 for more information!

The Collettsville Mountaineer Group which meets at the Ruritan building in Collettsville on Wednesday nights needs support! See its meeting page for more details.
The Caldwell Discussion Group which meets Thursdays at 8:00pm at the Caldwell House in Lenoir needs support! See its meeting page for more details.
DISTRICT 12 & GROUP EVENTS
The Queen Street Club in Morganton is now open 7 days a week for morning, afternoon, and evening meetings. There is social time daily from 1pm to 4pm. Many of the Burke County meetings are using the Club as a temporary location during this pandemic.
